Frequently Asked Questions
The Joystick Mk18 is the light, simple choice at 1200 lumens and 105 g. The Diablo Mk15 gives 2000 lumens for 118 g. The Zenith Mk4 is the brightest at 2360 lumens and comes with helmet and handlebar mounts, so it can double as a bar light.
Exposure Lights is a British brand based in Sussex, England. Most of its lights use an all-in-one design: the battery sits inside the aluminium body, so there are no cables running to a separate battery pack. That makes them quick to swap between bikes and helmets, and there is less to snag or break on the trail.
Current models like the Joystick Mk18, Zenith Mk4, Diablo Mk15, Sirius Mk11 and TraceR Mk3 charge by USB-C. We stock Exposure chargers and USB-A to USB-C charge cables if you need a spare for the car or the office. Charge after every ride so you always start with a full battery.
Yes. We carry the quick-release handlebar mount, 25.4 to 35 mm bar mounts, helmet mounts, QR bracket clips, TraceR brackets, Kamm seatpost brackets, handlebar shims and the piggy-back battery connector. If you are not sure which mount suits your bar or helmet, ask us before you order.

Choosing an Exposure light
For night trail riding, pair a bar light with a helmet light: the bar light floods the trail, the helmet light points where you look. For road riding, the Strada's beam lights the tarmac without dazzling oncoming traffic. Commuters need a rear light that's visible in daylight; the DayBright and ReAKT modes do that. We also stock handlebar mounts, helmet mounts, seatpost brackets, shims, chargers and USB-C cables.
Night riding in Australia
Summer rides in Queensland start in the dark to beat the heat, and winter after-work loops at Stromlo or the You Yangs finish in it. Check runtime, not just lumens: the Six Pack gives 2 hours at full power and up to 36 hours on lower programs. Exposure also suits bikepacking trips; the Revo charges off a dynamo hub.
