Description
Description
Gear Aid Utility Strap is the simple strap you end up using for everything: two black nylon webbing straps per pack, each with a side-release buckle that clicks shut in a second and a TPU tail keeper that stops the loose end flapping. Cinch a foam mat under the lid of your pack, lash a dry bag to a bike rack for a gravel weekend in the hinterland, or bundle an armful of firewood back to the fire.
What it is
A pack of two adjustable nylon straps. Thread the webbing through the buckle, pull it tight around the load, then slide the tail into the keeper so nothing snags in the scrub or catches in a wheel.
Who it's for
Hikers who carry a closed-cell mat or tent on the outside of a pack, bikepackers and tourers lashing bags to racks and bars, and anyone who wants a quick way to keep gear bundled in the shed or the gear cupboard.

Choosing a length and width
The 0.6 m strap suits a rolled-up jacket, a tent pole bag or a dry bag on a fork cage. The 1 m length goes round a foam mat or a small tent, and the 1.5 m length wraps bulkier loads like a big dry bag on a rear rack or a bundle of firewood. Go for 25 mm webbing when the load is heavy or the strap sees daily use, and 20 mm when you want the lighter, lower-profile option on a pack.
