Strip Drive + Front

The Lezyne Strip Drive+ Front is a compact front light built to make you seen, day or night. Its long strip lens sits behind Wide Angle Optics that throw light across 270 degrees, so it shows to the sides as well as straight ahead. It weighs 78 g, wraps onto the bar with a silicone strap and charges over USB-C.

Who it's for

Road riders, commuters and anyone riding in traffic who wants a bright front flash on the bars from the first ride of the day. It is a be-seen light: perfect for the morning run along the Gold Coast Oceanway or an afternoon in the hills behind Mudgeeraba. The 700-lumen figure is Day Flash 2, a highly disruptive daytime flash, and it still runs 20 hours. Day Flash 1 at 200 lumens goes for 50 hours between charges.

Beam shape

This is a wide-spread safety light rather than a focused road beam. The strip lens and Wide Angle Optics push light out to the sides, giving you 270 degrees of visibility instead of a narrow spot.

Charging and battery

A 1400 mAh battery charges through a waterproof USB-C port; bring your own cable.

Mounting

A silicone rubber strap holds it on round or aero bars, and on other compatible parts of the bike.

Weather resistance

The co-molded body is tested to IPX7, so rain and road spray are no reason to leave it at home.
