Roadie Twin Turbo 160 PSI Black Pump

The Topeak Roadie TT Twin Turbo is a 100 g all-aluminium mini pump for road bikes that reaches 160 psi (11 bar) through a Presta head. The Roadie TT uses Topeak's TwinTurbo design, where a wide outer barrel feeds a narrow inner barrel, so each stroke moves 41.4 cc of air at high pressure. A side mount bracket is included.

Who it's for

Road riders who want a pocket-sized pump that slips into a jersey or rides on the frame in its bracket, and reaches the high pressures a skinny road tyre runs. The Roadie TT is the pump for the flat that happens halfway up Mount Tamborine or out on the coast road with the bunch waiting. At 19.5 x 3.3 x 2.35 cm and 100 g, you will forget it is there until you need it.

Pressure and volume

Topeak built the TwinTurbo design to deliver more air at higher pressure: the larger outer barrel compresses air into the smaller inner barrel, so each push delivers 41.4 cc and the pump reaches 160 psi (11 bar). Topeak says that means fewer strokes, which is what you want with a 25 or 28 mm road tyre on the verge.

Valve compatibility

The Roadie TT head is Presta only. An aluminium thumb-lock lever ensures an air-tight seal on the valve, and an integrated dust cap keeps the pump head clean.

Carrying it

The included side mount bracket holds the pump on the frame, or slip it into a jersey pocket or saddle bag. The barrel, thumb lock and handle are all aluminium, a full-metal build.
