The Sea to Summit Lightweight Dry Bag is a roll-top dry bag in bluesign-approved recycled 70D nylon with a 10,000 mm hydrostatic head, soft and pliable rather than stiff, so it packs into odd spaces inside a pack. Seven sizes run from 1.5 L at 34 g to 35 L at 115 g.

What it keeps dry, and how dry

The everyday dry bag, and the most versatile design Sea to Summit make - soft, pliable and light enough that you own several. The hypalon non-wicking roll-top is the same closure as their other dry sacks, and the seams are double-stitched and fully taped.

The body fabric is rated to a 10,000 mm hydrostatic head. It is built to keep rain and spray out, not to be submerged: Sea to Summit say water can seep through the roll-top of any dry bag held under.

Capacity and what fits

Seven sizes, 1.5 L to 35 L, from 34 g to 115 g. The 1.5 L stands 19 cm tall on a 10.7 x 14.1 cm base; the 35 L stands 55.6 cm on a 28.8 x 31.5 cm base, measured with the top rolled three times.

Material and durability

The face fabric is recycled 70D nylon, bluesign approved, with a C0 non-PFAS DWR. The interior polyurethane coating is white rather than black, which sounds cosmetic and is not: it reflects light, so small items are easier to find inside.

Packing and carrying

A D-ring at the buckle secures it to a boat, bike or kayak, and the oval base stops it rolling away the moment you put it down on a slope. Anything made after 2024 works with the Dry Bag Sling. Also available in View (clear window) and First Aid versions.
