Merino Aerogrid Neckwarmer

The XTM Performance Merino Aerogrid is a lightweight neck warmer in 260 gsm grid fleece, a blend of 65% merino wool, 31% recycled polyester and 4% elastane. The merino is 19.5 micron and the fabric is a Woolmark Wool Rich Blend. It has flatstitch seams, weighs 77 g on average, and it comes in one size in Black, Light Khaki or Slate Blue.

Who it's for

Anyone moving hard in cool air. Pull it up over your chin on a frosty start on the Overland Track, wear it down around your neck on a winter trail run, or wear it for a cold dawn ride. It is breathable, with a grid that lets moisture escape, and light enough to live in a jacket pocket all season. On the snow it makes a lighter alternative to a thick fleece gaiter for spring days.

Fit and layering

One size, with a regular fit and 4% elastane for stretch. Wear it as a neck tube, pull it up over your chin and nose, or tuck it into the collar of a shell or fleece as a lightweight layer.

Fabric and construction

Aerogrid is XTM's lightweight grid-channel fleece. The grid construction traps warmth while allowing airflow and moisture to escape, for temperature regulation during active use. The fibre mix pairs 19.5 micron merino with recycled polyester at 260 gsm, and the wool content is Australian merino. As a Woolmark Wool Rich Blend it has passed Woolmark's quality testing. The Aerogrid neckwarmer is a certified carbon neutral product.
