The Lezyne HV Drive Small is a compact high-volume hand pump in satin black: a CNC-machined aluminium barrel and piston, an overlapping Composite Matrix handle, and a hose that tucks away inside the handle. It weighs 93 g and is 195 mm long, small enough to sit on the frame and forget about until the trail bites.

Who it's for

Pressure and volume

The HV Drive is a high-volume pump: it is set up to move a generous amount of air on each stroke, which is what a big, low-pressure tyre needs to get back into shape quickly. It is rated to 90 psi (6.2 bar), so it comfortably covers the pressures trail and gravel tyres are run at.

Valve compatibility

The ABS Flex Hose unscrews from the handle and has a Presta end and a Schrader end, so you thread on whichever suits your tube or tubeless valve. On Presta, a press of the ABS button releases the pressure in the hose so it comes off the valve cleanly. On Schrader, the same button lets you fine-tune the tyre pressure before you unthread.

Looking after it

Store the hose back in the handle so the threads stay clean, and wipe off mud and dust after a wet ride. The Composite Matrix frame mount that comes with the pump keeps it out of your pockets and pack.
