Triangle Bag 2.2

The Deuter Triangle Bag 2.2 puts your repair kit inside the frame, where it is out of the way, keeps weight low and leaves your jersey pockets free for food. Slim, light and quick to fit, it is the bag that stays on the bike for every ride.

Who it's for

Tourers, bikepackers and gravel riders. Deuter rate it five out of five for touring and bikepacking and four for road and gravel. Think the Tasmanian Trail, a weekend on the Great Southern Rail Trail, or gravel loops behind the Gold Coast where the nearest bike shop is a long walk away.

Fitting it to your bike

Three short hook-and-loop straps fix the bag under the top tube and against the seat tube, tucked into the corner of the frame triangle. At just 6 cm wide it clears your knees on most frames. Sand and dust can dull paint where a bag rubs, so put protective film or foam where the straps touch.

Capacity and what fits

The Triangle Bag 2.2 measures 20 x 6 x 28 cm. That holds a multi-tool, tyre levers, a patch kit, a spare tube and a compact first aid kit, with gear loops on the outside for a small light or a strap.

Weatherproofing

The bag closes with a zip, and the 150D ripstop polyamide carries a PU coating that repels water and strengthens the seams. The ripstop weave limits abrasion, and the reflective 3M print helps you get seen at dusk.

Looking after it

Check the strap contact points now and then and refresh the protective film if it wears.
