Description
The Deuter Triangle Bag 1.7 tucks into the corner under your top tube and keeps the essentials on the bike, not in your jersey. Tools, a spare tube and a first aid kit, ready the moment you pull over.
Who it's for
Touring riders, bikepackers and gravel riders, the three uses Deuter rate it highest for. It suits a day on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, a gravel loop out of Warwick, or a multi-day trip where every other bag is full of camping kit.
Fitting it to your bike
Three hook-and-loop straps wrap the frame tubes in the corner of the main triangle. At 20 x 5 x 22 cm, it sits slim between your knees, and it suits frames with room in the front corner of the triangle. Check that the bag clears your bottle cages and any frame-mounted pump before you ride. Sand and grit under the straps can dull paint over time, so put a strip of protective film or foam on the frame where the straps sit.
Capacity and what fits
A multi-tool, tyre levers, a spare tube, a patch kit and a small first aid kit. Gear loops on the outside take a light or a small accessory.
Weatherproofing
The bag is made from 150D polyamide ripstop with a PU coating, which repels showers and road spray, and the finish is made without intentionally added PFAS. A zip closes the main pocket.
Looking after it
Deuter back it with a 2-year warranty.
