Raincover Ultra

The Deuter Raincover Ultra is the featherweight rain cover for Deuter's Aircontact Ultra trekking packs. At 75 g it lives in the lid pocket all trip and comes out when the sky turns, keeping your pack fabric and everything inside it out of the weather.

What it is

A fitted backpack rain cover in PU-coated 40D polyamide ripstop, with taped seams and a drawstring edge.

Who it's for

Owners of a Deuter Aircontact Ultra pack heading somewhere wet: the Overland Track in any month, the Western Arthurs, or a New Zealand Great Walk. Deuter rate it five out of five for trekking. If you carry a different pack, choose a cover sized for that pack, since this one is cut for the Aircontact Ultra series.

Key details

• Fits all Deuter Aircontact Ultra backpack models
• 40D polyamide ripstop, PU coated
• 10,000 mm water column; taped seams
• Drawstring adjustment
• 75 g; 76 x 30 x 26 cm

The 10,000 mm water column holds out heavy rain, and the same fabric keeps dust off on a dry, windy track. Pull the drawstring tight around the back panel edge so wind cannot lift the cover off the pack.
