Bike Bag 1.1+0.3

The Deuter Bike Bag 1.1 + 0.3 is the little bag that means you never ride without a spare tube again. It lives under your saddle, weighs next to nothing, and opens up a bit more when the long ride needs a gel and a rain vest too.

Fitting it to your bike

Hook-and-loop straps hold the bag under the saddle, so it fits without tools and moves between bikes in seconds. Before you fit it, put a strip of protective film or a foam pad where the strap touches the frame or seatpost: grit under any bag dulls paint over a season.

Capacity and what fits

1.1 litres takes a spare tube, tyre levers, a patch kit and a mini tool, with money and keys tucked in beside them. Unzip the expansion and you gain another 0.3 litres for a gel or a CO2 inflator. The bag measures 10 x 10 x 19 cm and weighs 80 g.

Weatherproofing

The bag closes with a full zip, and the underside is a hard-wearing, washable fabric that takes the spray off the back wheel. It is a stash bag rather than a sealed dry bag, so on a wet ride keep cash and cards in a small zip-lock bag inside.

Looking after it

The body is 100D recycled polyamide, made without intentionally added PFAS, with reflective 3M print for headlights at dusk.
