The Sea to Summit Camp Kitchen Clean-Up Kit with Soap is everything you need to wash up after dinner at camp, zipped into one round case: a 10 L folding sink, 50 ml of Wilderness Wash, a pot scrubber, a washcloth and a dish towel. 270 g, and the dishes are done properly instead of being wiped out with a corner of your shirt.

What it is

A complete camp washing-up station that packs flat into a 21 x 3 x 13 cm zip case. Six pieces in all:

10 L Kitchen Sink: a collapsible nylon basin with a stainless steel rim. Fill it at the creek, carry it back to camp and wash there.
50 ml Wilderness Wash: concentrated, biodegradable soap. A few drops do a full wash.
Pot Scrubber: palm-sized, with bristles for scrubbing and a built-in scraper for the burnt-on porridge.
Washcloth: coarse on one side for cleaning, soft on the other for wiping.
DryLite Dish Towel: dries the pot and bowls so they go back into the pack dry.
Zippered case: keeps the damp cloths and the soap away from the rest of your gear.

Looking after it

Keep the water in the sink below 60 °C: boiling water damages the seam tape. Wash with warm water rather than straight off the stove, and never use bleach in it, because bleach damages the coating. Tip the grey water out on soil well away from water, rinse the sink, and hang the cloths and towel to dry before they go back in the case so nothing goes mouldy between trips.
