No. SaltStick Caps are capsules you swallow with water, with up to 660 mg of electrolytes each and no flavour. FastChews are chewable tablets that need no water, with 100 mg of sodium per two-tablet serving and a choice of ten flavours. Caps carry more sodium per dose; FastChews are easier to take on the move.
SaltStick's usual dose is one capsule with water every 30 to 60 minutes of exercise. For FastChews, the dose is two tablets every 30 minutes. Test your plan in training before a race, and check with your doctor if you have a medical condition.
Race Ready Caps Plus carry 30 mg of caffeine per capsule. Two FastChews flavours, Tropical Twist and Citrus Burst, add 15 mg of green-tea caffeine. Energy Gummies have no caffeine in any flavour, and the other FastChews flavours are caffeine-free, so you can mix caffeinated and plain doses through a race.
