The Topeak VersaCage is a 128 g cargo cage that carries a drybag, sleeping bag, sleeping pad or stuff sack on your fork or frame, up to 3 kg. It comes with two 66 cm buckle straps and three VersaMount clamps, so it bolts to bottle bosses or clamps to tubes from 20 to 60 mm, including suspension forks.

What it fits

Any round-shaped load up to 3 kg: a drybag, a sleeping bag or pad, a stuff sack of camp kit. Strap one to each fork leg and the bulky gear rides low on the bike, freeing up room in your handlebar and frame bags for everything else. It goes on a rigid fork with bottle bosses, a suspension fork, or anywhere on the frame with a tube diameter of 20 to 60 mm.

How it attaches

Where you have bottle bosses, the VersaCage bolts straight on. Where you do not, the three included VersaMount clamps give you a mount on the frame or front fork. The EasyMount design lets you fit the bolts first and then hang the cage in position, and the four-hole mount gives 64 mm of height adjustment so you can set the load where the bike balances best. Lay a strip of protective film on the frame before fitting the clamps to keep the paint looking sharp. The clamps also work on their own as a mount for a bottle cage.

The cage weighs 128 g and measures 22 x 12 x 7 cm; the two buckle straps add 44 g and the three engineering grade polymer VersaMount clamps 48 g.
