The Topeak Tri-Cage is a 74 g polymer bottle cage designed for saddle carrier mounting, such as Topeak's Tri-BackUp. Its forward-release design helps prevent dropped bottles when you reach back mid-ride, it takes bottles up to 750 cc and 72-74 mm across, and two tyre levers come with it. A bottom mount carries a Ninja tool case, CO2 kit or tube pouch.

What it fits

Standard bottles up to 750 cc, with 72-74 mm the recommended diameter. Underneath, an integrated mount takes one of Topeak's Ninja Road accessories: the Ninja T Road with its built-in tool case, the Ninja CO2 (a Micro AirBooster with two threaded 16 g cartridges), or the Ninja Pouch Road for a spare tube. Bottle, tools and inflation all ride together behind the saddle, leaving the frame clean.

How it attaches

The Tri-Cage fits a Topeak Tri-BackUp hydration mount or another rear hydration mounting system behind the saddle. Pair it with the Tri-BackUp Pro I for triathlon saddles or the Pro V for road saddles. Reaching back for a bottle is blind work, and the easy-access forward-release design is there to stop that bottle hitting the road.
