The Topeak Roadie 2Stage is an 89 g aluminium mini pump for road bikes with a selector that switches between high volume and high pressure. The Roadie 2Stage moves 40.8 cc per stroke up to 75 psi, then 11.2 cc per stroke on the high-pressure stage up to 160 psi (11 bar), through a Presta thumb-lock head.

Pressure and volume

Two stages, chosen with the 2Stage pressure selector. Stage 1 is the high-volume setting: 40.8 cc of air with every stroke, which fills a flat road tyre quickly from empty to about 75 psi (around 5.2 bar). Then switch the selector to Stage 2, high pressure, and each stroke moves 11.2 cc, taking you from 75 psi up to a maximum of 160 psi (11 bar). Topeak's aim is a quick, effortless fill for a road tyre.

Valve compatibility

The Roadie 2Stage head is Presta only. An aluminium thumb-lock lever ensures an air-tight seal on the valve, and the head has an integrated dust cap.

Carrying it

The side mount bracket (Topeak part TRK-PC01) comes in the box and holds the pump on the frame. The barrel and handle are aluminium.
