Mesh Bag

Orca Mesh Bag is a drawstring swim bag built for wet gear: the wetsuit you just peeled off, goggles, a cap, fins and a towel. The top half is open mesh so air gets in and water gets out, and three eyelets in the base let whatever is still dripping run straight out the bottom. The base and the back panel are waterproof, so you can sling it on your back at the beach or the pool without a soaked shirt, and a waterproof zip pocket on the back keeps your keys and phone dry.

Who it's for

Open water swimmers, triathletes, squad swimmers and freedivers who leave the water with an armful of wet neoprene. Throw your wetsuit and fins in after a dawn swim at Burleigh or a Saturday session at the local pool and walk home with your hands free. It is light enough to roll into a race bag as a spare for the wet stuff after the swim leg, and simple enough to become the bag you grab for every training swim.

What it does

• Mesh top panel: ventilates and drains, so damp gear is not sealed in to sour.

Looking after it

Rinse the bag in fresh water after salt or chlorine, along with the gear that was in it, then hang it up by the drawcords to dry in the shade. Unzip the back pocket so it dries out too.
