• A constant, free flow of air is enabled by means of the vertical air channel. This ensures optimal ventilation even at high exertion levels including a lot of sweat so as to prevent the chilling of the sensitive kidney area.
• Loads are distributed evenly on the body’s center of gravity while simultaneously reducing contact points on the back. In order to achieve this, air channels and pads are positioned away from the back behind a mesh structure.
• The VENTI FLAP system enables folding the back piece away for maximum ventilation, and thus enhanced carrying comfort. During longer ascents, you can increase the distance to your back by opening the adjustment strap to boost air circulation. During descents you can reduce the distance again, which then ensures that the backpack sits firmly and is completely neutral to movement.

Are EVOC HIP PACKS waterproof?
Our hip packs are water repellent. Our outer material is double-coated with PU on both sides, and the outer side has been treated with a water-resistant coating that ensure that water cannot enter the inside of the backpack too fast. However, as we do not weld the seams and zippers, we cannot guarantee that water will not enter the inside of the hip pack, especially in heavy rain and long-term rain.Therefore, we recommend the use of a rain cover for heavy rain and extended tours in the rain: EVOC RAINCOVER SLEEVE
