Frequently Asked Questions
No. S-Pack batteries are made for Therm-ic Powersocks and clip onto the sock cuff. Heated gloves take the Powergloves battery, and Therm-ic heated insoles use their own batteries. Older Therm-ic batteries with a 4-pin plug don't fit the current socks.
It depends on the heat level and the cold. The Powergloves battery gives up to 7.5 hours. For socks, more capacity means more heat for longer, so the 2400 mAh S-Pack 1200 and 2800 mAh 1400B suit full ski days, and the 1400 mAh 700 and 700B suit shorter sessions.
Switch them off, disconnect them and leave them about half charged. Store them somewhere cool, between 5 and 20 °C, and charge them back to half at least every six months. Lithium cells don't need to be run flat before charging.
Which Therm-ic battery fits
• S-Pack Batteries: for current Therm-ic Powersocks, including the Heat, Heat Fusion, Ultra Warm S.E.T. and Heat Multi socks. They clip onto the snap fasteners on the sock cuff. They don't fit Therm-ic insoles or gloves, and older 4-pin batteries don't fit these socks.Which Therm-ic battery fits

• Powergloves battery: 3,600 mAh at 3.7 V, up to 7.5 hours of heat, for Therm-ic heated gloves and Inside liner gloves. It doesn't fit Grip Ultra Heat or Freeride Ultra Heat gloves.
Choosing an S-Pack capacity
The 700 and 700B are slim packs with 1400 mAh per battery. The 1200 has 2400 mAh and the 1400B has 2800 mAh, the most in the range. The B models add Bluetooth control from the Therm-ic Heat Control app. For full days on the hill, pick the 1200 or 1400B.
Each sock battery has three heat levels and runs on its own, so a colder foot can sit on a higher setting. Use levels 1 and 2 for most of the day and level 3 only for a few minutes at a time, because long spells on the top setting can burn. Never wear heated socks and heated insoles together. Both batteries charge together on the supplied USB cable from an adapter of no more than 5 V.
Looking after batteries through an Australian summer
Lithium batteries don't like heat. Over summer, store them switched off and half charged, somewhere between 5 and 20 °C, not in the car or the roof space. Top them up to half at least every six months. Take sock batteries off before washing, and never submerge them.
