Gravel Gear Bag W/Repair Kit

The Topeak Gravel Gear Bag with Repair Kit is a 0.6 L organiser bag that straps under the top tube and arrives packed with a tubeless repair kit: a Tubi 11 mini tool, Power Lever X tyre levers, three repair plugs and an AirBooster CO2 inflator. The Gravel Gear Bag also has room for two 16 g CO2 cartridges and a spare tube up to 700 x 40c.

Who it's for

Gravel, road and touring riders on tubeless tyres who want their whole flat-fix kit on the bike and sorted, instead of loose in a jersey pocket. A puncture on a rocky gravel descent or 40 km from the car on a back road: open the bag, and the plug tools, levers and CO2 inflator are held in place by the internal organiser.

What is in the kit

The Tubi 11 is an 11-function mini tool with 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm hex keys, a T25 Torx, a hardened steel tyre lever, a knife for trimming plugs, and a 2-in-1 reamer and 3.5 mm plug insertion tool that snaps into the body. Three 3.5 mm x 5 cm repair plugs are ready to go. The Power Lever X gives you two tyre levers that join into master link pliers, with a Presta valve core tool built in. The AirBooster CO2 inflator refills the tyre from a cartridge once the plug is in. Add two 16 g CO2 cartridges and a spare tube, which are not included, and the kit is complete.

Fitting it to your bike

The bag sits under the top tube, tucked into the corner by the seat tube, with straps around both tubes. It fits top tubes from 28 to 70 mm and seat tubes from 28 to 60 mm in diameter. At 23.3 x 9 x 4.3 cm, check the clearance to a bottle in your seat tube cage before you ride. As with any strap-on bag, a bit of clear frame protection film under the straps keeps grit from dulling the paint over time.

Capacity and what fits

0.6 L, laid out with an internal organiser that keeps gear neatly and securely in place. The spare tube slot takes tubes up to 700 x 40c. The bag weighs 162 g on its own and 363.5 g with the repair kit inside.

Weatherproofing

The bag is 1000D nylon with a waterproof zip. Topeak publishes no waterproof rating for the bag itself.
