Foldable Cap

The Orca Foldable Cap is a running and triathlon cap with a flexible design, so you can fold it into a pocket or race bag and it keeps its original shape when you pull it on. It is made from quick-drying, breathable recycled polyester and comes in S/M (53-58 cm) and L/XL (55-60 cm), in black or white.

Who it's for

Runners and triathletes who want sun off their face without a stiff cap getting crushed in transit. Fold it into a T2 bag, a hydration vest pocket or a carry-on and it comes out ready to wear. It suits a hot parkrun on the Gold Coast foreshore, a long Sunday run through the hinterland, or a travel day when you would rather not pack a hat box. If you run hot and want the top of your head open, a visor is the alternative; if you want the crown covered, this is the cap.

Fit and sizing

Two sizes, measured around the head just above the ears and across the forehead: S/M fits 53-58 cm and L/XL fits 55-60 cm. Between 55 and 58 cm either size works, so choose S/M for a closer fit or L/XL if you wear it over a buff or have plenty of hair.

Fabric and construction

The crown and brim are recycled polyester that is quick-drying and breathable. The flexible design means it can be folded away and still hold its original shape when you take it out. A grey Orca logo sits on the front.

Looking after it

Rinse out sweat and sunscreen in cold water after a run and let it air dry; the fabric dries fast. Fold it neatly rather than crushing it into a ball.
