Description

The Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ puts your ride on screen without the price of a direct-drive smart trainer. A sensor built into the unit reads speed, cadence and estimated power and streams them to your app, while you pick the resistance with a lever on the bar.

What it is

A wheel-on trainer with a magnetic resistance unit and an Elastogel roller. The 8-level sequential selector clips to your handlebar so you can step up for a climb or back off for recovery without stopping. The Smart B+ part is the Misuro B+ sensor: it broadcasts data over ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart, and reads which level you have selected so the estimated power stays honest.

Who it's for

Riders who want Zwift, Rouvy, MyWhoosh or structured My E-Training sessions with live numbers, and are happy to shift and press the lever themselves when the road tilts. The app shows your speed, cadence and power; it does not change the resistance for you. That keeps the setup simple: no power cable, no calibration.

Key details

  • Resistance: magnetic, 8 levels on a handlebar selector
  • Output: 370 W at 20 km/h, up to 900 W at 40 km/h
  • Data: speed, cadence and estimated power over ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart
  • Apps: My E-Training (12-month subscription included), Zwift, MyWhoosh, Rouvy, Kinomap
  • Wheel fit: 20–29 inch road, gravel, mountain and city bikes
  • Axles: quick release 130–135 mm adapter in the box; thru-axle and Boost adapters available
  • Weight and load: 8.7 kg trainer, 110 kg maximum load
  • Folded: 550 x 570 x 300 mm

How it compares

The Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ is the connected step up from the Elite Novo Force: same lever-and-levels idea, but with the sensor built in and a higher top end of 900 W against 690 W. Choose the Qubo Fluid if you would rather have resistance that follows your speed than a lever.

FAQ's

What does Smart B+ mean on the Elite Qubo Power Mag?
Smart B+ means the Elite Qubo Power Mag has a built-in Misuro B+ sensor that sends speed, cadence and estimated power over ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart. It reports your ride to apps; it does not let an app control the resistance.

Does the Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ work with Zwift?
Yes. The Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ pairs with Zwift, MyWhoosh, Rouvy, Kinomap and My E-Training, sending speed, cadence and estimated power. On climbs you raise the effort yourself with the handlebar lever or your gears.

Will Zwift change the resistance on the Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+?
No. The Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ is a non-interactive trainer, so resistance stays on its 8-level handlebar selector. The sensor reads which level you are on, which keeps the estimated power figure in step with your effort.

Will the Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ fit a mountain bike?
Yes. The Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ fits road, gravel, mountain and city bikes with 20 to 29 inch wheels. Quick release hubs of 130–135 mm fit out of the box; thru-axle and Boost frames need Elite adapter 1020008.

Does the Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ need a power point?
No. The Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ runs without a power supply, so you can set it up on a balcony, in the garage or at a race warm-up area with no cable to the wall.

Is the Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ quiet?
The Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ uses Elite's Elastogel roller, which grips the tyre well and damps vibration and roller noise as the effort rises, and it reduces tyre wear over a season of indoor sessions.

Does the Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ fold up?
Yes. The Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ folds from 590 x 570 x 450 mm open to 550 x 570 x 300 mm, and weighs 8.7 kg, so it packs away under a desk or in a wardrobe.
