Description

The Cosmo 350-R is Black Diamond's simple rechargeable head torch: a built-in battery, a white beam with three brightness levels, a red night light and a lock, all for 75 g.

Who it's for

Campers and anyone who wants one simple light for camp, around the house and general outdoor use, and who would rather plug in than buy batteries. With a charger handy between outings, the Cosmo 350-R is always ready to go.

Brightness and runtime together

  • Max: 350 lumens, 64 m, 5 hours, then 1 hour of reserve light.
  • Medium: 175 lumens, 45 m, 10 hours, then 30 minutes of reserve.
  • Low: 6 lumens, 10 m, 225 hours.

Runtimes are to the ANSI FL-1 standard (time to 10% of starting output).

Beam shape

One main white LED does the distance and dims smoothly between levels, and a separate red LED protects your night vision. White and red both have a strobe setting.

Charging and battery

An integrated lithium-ion battery charges by USB in about 3 hours behind a side cover, and a battery indicator shows the charge left. Hold the button to lock the light so it cannot switch on in your pack.

Weather resistance

Rated IP67: dustproof and waterproof to immersion at 1 m for 30 minutes. Black Diamond covers its lighting with a three-year warranty.
