The Orca Athlex Flex V2 Women's is the flexibility-first suit in Orca's Athlex triathlon range: Yamamoto neoprene, thin panels through the upper body, neutral buoyancy and Orca's V Fit women's cut. It suits experienced swimmers who already hold a good position in the water and want the suit to stay out of the way of the stroke.

Who it's for

Swimmers whose technique is sound. Orca's Flex models put freedom of movement first, so the Athlex Flex V2 leaves your natural position alone.

Choose it when your stroke is settled and you want a suit that does not fight it. For newer swimmers, the Athlex Float is the better buy, and the Athlex Flow sits between the two.

Buoyancy and flexibility

The upper body uses thin Yamamoto 39 neoprene for stretch through the upper torso, with no graphics on the shoulders to stiffen them. The legs step up to thicker Yamamoto 38+ for compression.

The suit is 95% neoprene and 5% polyamide, with an SCS coating on the outer surface to cut water friction and an Infinity Skin 2 lining inside. HydroLite helps it come off quickly in transition.

    Cleaning
    Neoprene can be damaged by excess salt or other chemicals such as chlorine if used in swimming pools. We recommend washing your wetsuit with plenty of water after each use. A small amount of neutral pH soap can be used and then rinsed out afterwards.

    Once clean, make sure prevent it from holding onto too much moisture. Air dry it outside or in a ventilated indoor space, somewhere without direct exposure to sunlight as this can damage the materials.
