Womens Dakota Ski Jacket

The XTM Dakota Ski Jacket is a long, warm women's ski jacket with 200 g/sqm of recycled polyester insulation through the body, 160 g/sqm through the sleeves and a hi-pile plush fleece lining. Its stretch recycled polyester shell is rated HydroVENT20+, 20,000 mm waterproof and 20,000 g/m2 breathable, closing with a two-way YKK main zip. The hood is fleece-lined and removable. Sizes 8 to 18 in Black and Evergreen.

Who it's for

The Dakota is for the skier who feels the cold. It is one of the warmer jackets in XTM's range, and it shows: thick insulation through the body, a plush fleece lining against you, and a cut long enough to keep the wind off your hips on a slow chairlift. The fleece adds warmth without stacking on more puffy insulation, so you stay warm without feeling like you are wearing a sleeping bag. We stock it for the days when the wind is up and the temperature is down.

Waterproofing and breathability

The stretch shell carries XTM's HydroVENT20+ rating: 20,000 mm waterproof and 20,000 g/m2 breathable. Wet snow and sleet stay on the outside, and the breathability lets warmth and damp from a hard run escape rather than building up inside all that insulation.

Fit and layering

A two-way YKK main zip lets you open the jacket from the bottom when you sit down or need more room through the hips. Zips at the side hem open up the long cut for extra movement on bigger days. The hood is lined with the same hi-pile fleece and comes off when you do not need it, and the external hand warmer pockets give cold fingers somewhere to go between runs. The recycled polyester shell has stretch, so it moves with you rather than fighting you.
