Description
XTM Performance Whistler II GORE-TEX Kids' Snow Mitt is a finger-free mitt-style snow glove for children aged 4 to 12, with a GORE-TEX waterproof breathable insert, 190 g Toasty fill insulation across the back of the hand and 80 g in the palm. A PFC-free polyester Taslon and microfibre shell, a Rubbertec palm, a barrel lock cuff and an adjustable wrist strap finish it. Sizes XS to XL, in five colours.
Who it's for
Kids who spend all day in the snow and parents who are tired of soggy, cold hands by morning tea. The Whistler II is the mitt for ski school at Perisher, a first run down the Mt Buller bunny slope, building a snowman at Lake Mountain or a family trip to the slopes in Japan. A mitt keeps fingers together so they share their warmth.
Waterproofing and breathability
A genuine GORE-TEX waterproof breathable insert is made to keep out the harshest conditions and keep small hands warm and dry.
Fit and layering
The Whistler II is a regular-fit mitt with a gauntlet-style cuff, as the photos show. A secure barrel lock cuff and an adjustable wrist strap set the fit at the wrist.

Looking after it
At the end of the day, open the cuff and let the mitts dry at room temperature, away from the heater or fire, ready for tomorrow. Spot clean or hand wash gently with a mild detergent if they get grubby; do not machine wash or tumble dry.
