Unisex Heatflex Thermal Top

The XTM Performance Heatflex Unisex Thermal Top is a long-sleeved base layer in 180 g/m² polypro, finished with Polygiene StayFresh odour control. It sits close to the skin, keeps you warm, moves sweat out and dries quickly, and weighs 165 g on average. Unisex sizes XS to 3XL, in black or charcoal marle.

Who it's for

Anyone who wants a dependable warm first layer for cold days outdoors. Heatflex goes on under a ski jacket for a week at Falls Creek or Perisher, under a fleece for a frosty start on the Australian Alps Walking Track, or on its own as a sleep top once the tent is up and the temperature drops.

It earns its keep closer to home as well: dawn on the water chasing winter bream, a cold morning shift outside, or a sideline in July. XTM cut Heatflex for men and women in the same unisex sizing.

Fit and layering

Heatflex is a slim fit, shaped to follow the body. That close contact is what lets a base layer hold warmth against you and wick moisture straight off your skin. Back length is 71.5 cm on a size M, and XTM's 182 cm model wears a medium. The fitted body and sleeves slide under a fleece, puffer or shell without bunching at the elbows.

Fabric and construction

The knit is 180 g/m² polypro, the classic synthetic thermal fabric: warm for its weight, quick to shed sweat and quick to dry on a line strung between two trees. XTM coat it with Polygiene StayFresh, a silver salt treatment that stops odour-causing bacteria building up, so the top stays fresher across a multi-day trip and needs washing less often at home. Heatflex is a certified carbon neutral product.

Care

Machine wash warm on a normal cycle with similar colours. Leave out fabric softener and bleach, then line dry or tumble dry on cool. Keep Heatflex away from direct heat, whether you are wearing it by the fire or drying it after a wash, and do not iron it.
