Therm-ic Ultra Heat Boost men's heated gloves for skiing, with three heat levels, PrimaLoft insulation, a leather palm and a 10K/10K waterproof, breathable membrane. The heating elements wrap right around each finger and across the top of the hand, so the warmth goes where cold hands feel it first.
Who it's for
Skiers and snowboarders who run cold, and anyone who has cut a good day short because their hands stopped working. Picture a windy chairlift at Thredbo or a long traverse at Hotham in July: press the button on the back of the hand and the heat comes on. They also suit people who feel the cold in their fingers more sharply than most and want heat on demand.
Heat and battery
Three heat levels let you match the warmth to the day, with up to 10 hours of heat from the lithium-ion batteries supplied with the gloves. Therm-ic's Boost Heat Technology is about speed: the gloves heat up faster, reach a higher heat intensity and the batteries charge faster. The batteries sit in a waterproof zipped pocket on the cuff.

Waterproofing and breathability
A 10K/10K membrane keeps snow and wet out while letting moisture from your hands escape, so the insulation stays dry from both sides. A drawstring at the cuff seals out spindrift.
Fit and layering
The cuff is cut thin so it sits neatly with your jacket sleeve. A safety cord keeps each glove attached to your wrist when you take it off on the lift, and the soft strip on the thumb is there for wiping your goggles.
Fabric and construction
The palm is 100% leather for grip on poles and durability. The outer fabric is 73% recycled polyester, 7% elastane and 20% PU, with a lining of 72% polyester and 28% recycled polyester. Insulation is PrimaLoft, made with 90% recycled polyester, so the gloves are warm before you even switch them on.
Looking after it
Never machine wash the gloves, and never dry them in a tumble dryer or on a radiator. Keep drying temperatures at or below 40 °C. At the end of the season, charge the batteries to about half, disconnect them from the gloves and the charger, and store them somewhere cool, between 5 °C and 20 °C. That is what keeps the batteries healthy for next winter.
