Tallows Mens Pant

XTM Tallows Mens Pant is the soft fleece pant you pull on the moment you are back from the water, off the trail or in the door. It is made from 180gsm Seawool fleece, a textile spun from responsibly sourced, discarded oyster shells and recycled PET bottles, with an elastic waist, cuffed ankles and mesh-lined side pockets. Black, men's sizes XS to 3XL.

Who it's for

Surfers peeling off a wetsuit on a cold morning at Snapper Rocks, hikers changing into something comfortable at camp, and anyone who wants a warm, soft pant around the house on a winter night. XTM rate the Tallows 1 of 4 for warmth and 2 of 4 for breathability, so think of it as a light, cosy layer for cool evenings, campsite lounging and the drive home rather than a pant for snow. Seawool is anti-bacterial and odourless.

Fit and layering

A regular fit: neither slim nor relaxed, with room to move. The inleg is 76 cm on a size L, worn here by a 184 cm model. The waistband and leg cuffs are elasticated.

Care

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash gently with a mild detergent. Do not soak or bleach. Line dry, and keep it out of the dryer, away from the iron and away from the dry cleaner. Like any fleece, keep it clear of campfire sparks and open flame.
