XTM Takayna Men's Packable Waterproof Rain Jacket

The XTM Takayna Men's is a packable 2.5-layer rain shell made from 100% recycled materials, with a HydroVENT20+ waterproof shell, a 20K breathability rating and a PFAS-free DWR. It is fully seam sealed, stows into its own front pocket, and all profits go to the Bob Brown Foundation's campaign to protect takayna/Tarkine.

Waterproofing and breathability

XTM rates the shell HydroVENT20+ for waterproofing with a 20K breathability rating - the first number is about keeping rain out, the second about letting the moisture you make get back out. Every seam is sealed, and a double storm flap covers the zip.

Fit and layering

A lightweight rain shell with a fully adjustable hood. Sizes run S to 3XL in Slate Blue, Granite and Brick.

Fabric and construction

2.5-layer construction, made entirely from recycled materials, with a PFAS-free DWR finish on the face. XTM describes the jacket as certified carbon neutral.

Packability and weight

Light enough that it lives in the pack rather than being a decision. It stows into its own front pocket, so it packs to about the size of that pocket.
