Stem Bag

The Restrap Stem Bag puts food where your hand already is. It straps beside your stem, holds 1.1 litres, weighs 82 g, and its drawstring closure lets you get at your food on the go instead of stopping to dig through a pack.

Who it's for

Bikepackers, gravel riders and long-distance road riders who need to eat every half hour and do not want to stop each time. On a big day on the Mawson Trail or a hot gravel loop through the Scenic Rim, it keeps bars, gels and a banana right by your hand, or carries a second bottle.

Fitting it to your bike

Adjustable velcro straps wrap the handlebar and stem, and a fork strap at the base adds support. Restrap design it to fit any bike. The bag stands 205 mm tall and 110 mm across the base, so check it clears your knees when you climb out of the saddle.

Capacity and what fits

1.1 litres takes bars and gels, or a water bottle through the 90 mm opening. The drawstring closure gives access on the go: pull the cord to open it, grab what you need, and pull it shut again.

Weatherproofing

The bag is made from waterproof materials with a textured nylon outer, and Restrap designed it to keep your supplies safe and dry. The draw cord is reflective.

Looking after it

Handmade in Restrap's Yorkshire workshop, finished with a vegan-friendly PU label, and covered by a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Shake out the crumbs and wipe it clean with soapy water. There is a loop on the side to hang your sunglasses when the sun drops.
