S-Caddy

The Lezyne S-Caddy is the small size in Lezyne's Caddy saddle bag range: a wedge-shaped pouch in durable woven nylon that hangs under the saddle on two hook-and-loop straps. It measures 122 x 47 x 100 mm, weighs 59.3 g, and keeps the essentials for a flat off your back and out of your jersey.

Who it's for

Road riders, commuters and cross-country riders who want a puncture kit on the bike for every ride and nothing more. Clip it on, load it once, and the next time a thorn finds your tyre on the way home along the Gold Coast Oceanway, the fix is already under your saddle.

Capacity, and what actually fits

The S-Caddy is built around a basic repair kit. Lezyne's own loaded version packs it with a compact V Pro 5 multi-tool, a pair of tyre levers and a Smart Kit patch kit, which gives a good picture of the space inside.

How it carries

One strap loops through the saddle rails and a second wraps the seatpost, which holds the wedge tucked up under the saddle where it stays out of the way of your legs.

Fitting it

Thread the rail strap through first, pull it snug, then close the seatpost strap. The hook-and-loop straps adjust to suit most saddle rail and seatpost shapes, so the S-Caddy swaps easily between bikes.

Access and organisation

Inside, labelled pockets give each item a home, so the levers are where you left them when you open it on the roadside. On the outside, a quick-access sleeve holds a multi-tool you can grab for a saddle tweak without opening the bag. The zip is water-resistant and has a large pull loop that is easy to find with gloves on, and reflective logos and a reflective loop add a little visibility after dark.

Weight

At 59.3 g empty, the S-Caddy adds almost nothing to the bike, which suits riders who count grams as well as those who just want the bag to disappear.
