Gear Aid Revivex Leather Water Repellent is a gel that waterproofs and conditions full-grain leather boots in one go, and a staple of any boot care and repair routine. Over time, leather boots can dry out and crack. Rubbed in regularly, this gel soaks into the leather, repels water, guards against staining and brings back the shine. It is safe on GORE-TEX lined boots and compatible with waterproof-breathable footwear.

It is made for full-grain leather. For suede, nubuck and fabric boots, reach for the Revivex suede and fabric treatment instead.
How to use it
- Start with clean boots. Revivex Boot and Shoe Cleaner is made to prep footwear before a Revivex repellent goes on.
- Squeeze a few drops onto a cloth and rub the gel into the leather. A few drops will cover a whole shoe.
- Leave the boots to air dry.
The gel is concentrated, so one 118 ml bottle treats several pairs of boots. It is an all-season treatment, as useful before a wet spring walk in the Victorian high country as before a soggy winter on the Overland Track. Made in the USA.
Looking after it
Re-treat when water stops beading on the leather and starts to darken it, and condition boots before they dry out rather than after they crack. We stock it because a pair of good leather boots should outlast several pairs of laces.
