Do I need this, or does it come with the headset?
Sold separately. A Cardo headset ships with one set of parts, so this is for replacing them or for setting up a second helmet.

Can I use it with a different brand of intercom?
No. Cardo's connectors and mounts are their own, so parts do not cross between brands even where they look similar.

How do I know which Cardo unit I have?
The model name is printed on the back of the unit itself, behind the mount. Failing that, the Cardo Connect app names it on the device screen once the unit is paired.
