XTM Plus Size Merino 230 Wool Unisex Long Sleeve Thermal Top is a warm crew-neck base layer knitted from 100% fine Australian Merino, cut in plus sizes with the same close, slim fit as the rest of the range. The 230 g/m² interlock knit uses 20.5 micron fibre, so it feels smooth and non-itch on bare skin, and the merino regulates body temperature. It is Woolmark and Oeko-Tex 100 certified and rated UPF 50+.
Who it's for
Anyone in a 4XL to 7XL who has struggled to find a proper merino thermal. Wear it under a ski jacket for a week at Falls Creek, as the warm layer on a winter overnight in the Budawangs, on a cold dawn at the boat ramp, or around the house on a frosty Ballarat morning. It is unisex, sized for men and women alike.
Fit and layering
A slim fit, shaped and close to the body, which is how a base layer works best. Raglan sleeves add extra comfort, thumb gussets hold the cuffs over your hands under a jacket, and flatlock seams minimise chafing under a pack strap. Back length is 76 cm.
Sizes are 4-5XL and 6-7XL. If you sit between sizes or want room for a layer underneath, we'd go up.
