XTM Performance Orbit Glove is a unisex windproof fleece glove with a Windstopper by GORE-TEX Labs laminate between a warm knit fleece exterior and a soft brushed fleece lining. Silicone grip on the fingers, touch screen tips and fourchettes for a better fit keep your hands nimble. Black, regular fit, sizes S to 2XL.

The Orbit is the glove for a gusty ridge walk on the Australian Alps Walking Track, a blustery spring day on the slopes at Thredbo, an early ride along the coast in winter or standing on the sideline of a cold Saturday game. It is windproof and breathable, a good match for dry, windy days when you are moving.

Fit and layering

The Orbit has a regular fit that follows your hand with room to move. Fourchettes, the thin strips of fabric between the fingers, improve the fit, and XTM rate its dexterity 4 of 4. The touch screen tips let you use your phone without baring your hands.

The heart of the Orbit is a Windstopper by GORE-TEX Labs laminate: it is windproof and extremely breathable. Outside is a warm knit fleece with a soft heathered look; inside, a brushed fleece lining sits comfortably against your skin. The Orbit is windproof rather than waterproof, so for wet snow days choose a waterproof glove. It is a certified carbon neutral product.

Looking after it

Spot clean the Orbit, or hand wash it gently with a mild detergent; do not machine wash it. Air dry it upright away from direct heat, and keep it out of the tumble dryer. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.
