Description
The USWE Moto Hydro 12L is a hydration pack for enduro and off-road motorcycle riding, with 12 L of storage, a 3.0 L Elite bladder made by HydraPak and USWE's bounce-free NDM 1.2 harness. The Black/Grey colourway is the Adventure Fit for chests of 94-120 cm over body armour; Black, Black/Orange and Blue are the race fit for 84-110 cm.
Who it's for
Dirt bike riders putting in full days: enduro races and long off-road loops where you want water, tools and a spare layer on your back and nothing moving. The NDM 1.2 harness locks the pack down through whoops, jumps and rocky climbs, and its elastic straps stretch with your chest so you can still breathe hard when the going gets steep. Choose the Adventure Fit if you ride in a chest protector, body armour or a bulky riding jacket.
Capacity and fit
Twelve litres is split into two main compartments, a big one for a jacket and spares and a second for tools and small parts, plus an organiser compartment for the things you reach for most and a water-resistant phone pocket inside the main compartment. The pack measures 48 x 23 x 12 cm and weighs 596 g before you add the bladder.
Fit comes from the harness. Set the horizontal chest straps on the two D-rings, using the outer ring for a larger size and both rings for a smaller one, then adjust the vertical straps so the centre buckle sits around the height of your solar plexus. The race fit sits high on your back and suits chests of 84-110 cm. The Adventure Fit (Black/Grey) covers 94-120 cm and adds an extra large XXL harness strap so it closes over armour. Ventilated shoulder straps and back panel help move air on hot days.
Drinking and refilling
The 3.0 L Elite bladder is made by HydraPak and connects through a Plug-N-Play coupling, so the hose unplugs for a refill or a bladder swap without threading the tube back through the pack. Fill up, plug back in and go.
Cleaning and mould
Turn the Elite bladder inside out, the way you would a sock, then put it through the dishwasher or wash it with mild soap and water. Let it dry completely while it is still reversed before you store it.
Looking after it
Empty the pack after every ride and brush dirty patches clean with soapy water. Hand wash only: a washing machine or dryer damages the PU coating. Keep the zips clean and store the pack closed in a dry, well-ventilated place.
