Milano Backpack

XTM Milano Backpack is a 32-litre snow and travel pack for skiers and snowboarders. A hinged back opening gives wide access to the large main compartment, and it carries a snow tool and shovel pocket, a tricot-lined goggle pocket, a mesh helmet holder hidden in a stash pocket and a padded hydration or laptop sleeve. Who it's for

Skiers and snowboarders who want one bag for the whole trip: on the hill all day, then on the drive home and the days in between. XTM built the Milano as a grab-and-go pack for snow days and travel days, with a clean black look that works away from the lifts too.

Capacity, and what actually fits

Thirty-two litres, measuring 50 x 28 x 27 cm when full. That takes a day's snow kit: spare layers, lunch and a flask in the main compartment, goggles in their own soft-lined pocket, your helmet in the mesh holder that hides in a stash pocket, and a snow tool or shovel in the dedicated pocket. On a travel day the padded sleeve takes a laptop, and the drink bottle sleeve keeps water handy.

How it carries

An EVA moulded back panel sits against you, and a sternum strap and hip strap bring the load in close for the walk from the car park to the lifts.

Fitting it

The Milano comes in one size, with a sternum strap and a hip strap to snug it in once it is on your back.
