Description
Description
XTM Performance Merino Gloves are unisex liner gloves knitted from 100% fine Australian merino wool at 230 gsm, using 20.5 micron fibre. Thin, close fitting and Woolmark certified, they work as a glove in their own right on a cool day and as a warm first layer under ski gloves or mitts. Seven sizes, 2XS to 2XL, in black.
Who it's for
Skiers and boarders who want more warmth from the gloves they already own, and walkers who want something light for cold hands. Slip them on under your mitts for first lifts at Thredbo, then keep them on when the outer glove comes off to buckle a boot or find your lift pass. On the track they cover a frosty dawn start on the Overland or a windy ridge in the Victorian high country, then disappear into a pocket when the day warms up.
Fit and layering
A liner has to fit like a second skin, so we'd take your true size and resist sizing up. Measure around your hand just below the knuckles and match it to the size chart in the gallery. The long knitted cuff tucks under a jacket sleeve or the gauntlet of an outer glove, so there is no gap at the wrist.
- Unisex sizing in seven sizes: 2XS, XS, S, M, L, XL and 2XL
- Thin enough to wear under ski gloves and mitts
- Long cuff to seal the wrist
Fabric and construction
100% fine Australian merino at 230 gsm, spun from 20.5 micron fibre, which is why they sit against your skin with no itch. Merino is warm, breathable and quick drying, it keeps insulating when it gets wet, and it resists odour through a week of wear. The wool carries Woolmark certification, it is biodegradable, and the gloves are a certified carbon neutral product.
Packability and weight
They fold flat into a jacket pocket or the lid of a pack, which makes them the pair you always have with you.
Care
Wash cold on a gentle cycle, reshape and dry flat in the shade. Air them overnight between days on the snow and they are ready to go again.
