The Lezyne Matrix Team Cage is a lightweight, one-piece bottle cage made from Lezyne's Composite Matrix. Its open shape lets you pull the bottle out to the left or to the right, and Lezyne engineers and tests it to hold a bottle securely. This one is in black.

What it fits

The Matrix Team Cage bolts to any frame with standard bottle cage mounts and holds a regular bike bottle. Side loading is what makes it worth fitting on a small frame or a full-suspension bike, where the shock or top tube leaves no room to lift a bottle straight up. Fit one on each side of the frame and you can grab either bottle with whichever hand is free.

How it attaches

Two bolts through the base into the frame's bottle mounts, the same as any cage. Lezyne makes it for every kind of riding, from a rattly descent into the valley at Nerang to a long gravel day through the Scenic Rim.

Weight and material

Composite Matrix keeps the cage light and tough, and the one-piece design keeps it simple. It measures 150 x 81.3 x 86 mm.

Looking after it

Check the mounting bolts now and then, especially after the first few rides, and rinse the cage when you wash the bike so grit does not scuff your bottles.
