Description

The Lezyne Macro Drive 1400+ / Strip Drive Pro 400+ Light Pair is a front and rear set. The Macro Drive 1400+ puts 1400 lumens through Tri-Focus optics and runs up to 300 hours in Femto mode; the Strip Drive Pro 400+ rear puts out 400 lumens from ten LEDs and runs up to 80 hours. Both are IPX7 and charge by USB-C.

Who it's for

Riders who need to see and be seen, and would rather buy both at once than find out at 5pm in June that the rear light is flat. Lezyne pitches the front for visibility on the trail or the road, and both lights carry a Daytime Flash mode for riding in daylight traffic.

Brightness and runtime together

Seven output modes on each light. The front runs up to 300 hours in Femto mode; the rear up to 80 hours. Those are the longest runtimes, at the lowest output. Both include Daytime Flash, and the pair also has Race Mode.

The front works with the Infinite Light Power Pack+ for extended runtime on long rides.

Beam shape

The Macro Drive uses Tri-Focus Optics to shape its 1400 lumens into a beam pattern built for visibility, in a CNC-machined aluminium body with cooling fins. The Strip Drive Pro puts ten LEDs behind wide-angle optics for a 270-degree visibility range, so it can be seen from the side as well as from behind.

Charging and battery

Both lights charge through a waterproof USB-C port, and the front supports 2 A+ fast charging. Battery capacity is 5200 mAh in the front and 1900 mAh in the rear. The USB-C cable is not included.

Mounting

A replaceable strap fits a range of handlebar sizes, and a GoPro mount, sold separately, is an option for a tidier cockpit. The rear mounts to aero or round seatposts.

Weather resistance

Both lights are rated IPX7. The front weighs 230 g and the rear 71 g. Lezyne covers the LED lights for 2 years and the batteries for 6 months.
