Description

The Deuter Kid Comfort Pro is a 3550 g child carrier with a fixed sun canopy, a rear-view mirror in the hip pocket and a removable day pack in the bottom compartment. It takes a child of up to 18 kg plus 4 kg of baggage, from about nine months once the child can sit upright unaided.

Who it's for

Families who want the extras built in. The sun canopy is permanently fitted, the mirror lets you check on your passenger without taking the carrier off, and the day pack comes out of the bottom compartment when you need a small bag on its own. Deuter rate it highest for hiking.

When a child is ready for it

Deuter suit this carrier to children from about nine months, once your child can sit upright without help.

The maximum child weight is 18 kg, plus 4 kg of baggage, within a recommended total load of 9-22 kg.

How it carries

The Aircomfort back system leaves a gap between the mesh and your back so air can move, and a light, flexible spring steel frame spreads the load evenly. VariSlide adjusts the back length across 44-58 cm, for body heights of 158-195 cm, with a padded hip belt, pull-forward hip fins, stabiliser straps and a 2-way sternum strap.

Keeping the child comfortable

The Kid Comfort Pro carries the TUV/GS safety mark. Height-adjustable foot loops and a large, ergonomic, washable chin pad come with it.

Sun and weather

The sun canopy is permanently integrated, so it is always on the carrier and ready to go up.

Weight and capacity

The Kid Comfort Pro weighs 3550 g, 320 g more than the standard Kid Comfort, and measures 80 x 43 x 34 cm. It has 12 litres of gear space, with a main compartment and zip-out divider, three outer pockets and a hydration sleeve for up to 3 L. The body is 210D polyamide.
