Helio Pressure Shower

The Nemo Helio Pressure Shower is the compact member of Nemo's Helio family: a ground-standing portable shower that you pressurise with its attached foot pump. Fill it, pump it, and the neoprene hose and nozzle give you a steady spray at camp without hunting for a branch to hang a bag from.

What it is

A small pressure shower. The Helio sits upright on its base while the foot pump builds pressure inside the tank, so water comes out with real push rather than a gravity dribble. Squeeze the two-stage nozzle for short bursts, or lock it into continuous spray and keep both hands free.

You cannot over-inflate the tank, so if the spray slows down, a few more presses of the pump bring it back.

Who it's for

Couples and solo campers who want a proper rinse without a big water container taking over the campsite. Rinse off after a swim at a coastal camp, wash the dust away at the end of a day on the fire trails, clean the billy and plates, or hose sand off your feet before you climb into the tent.

How it compares

The Helio is the smaller of Nemo's two Helio showers. It packs down tighter and is lighter to carry full, which suits one or two people. For families and groups, the Helio LX has a bigger tank and a longer run of spray between refills.

Looking after it

Open the wide fill port after use so you can wipe out the tank and let it dry fully. Once it is dry, fold it down with the hose and pump nested under the base.
