Who it's for
Big appetites and small packs. Sea to Summit pioneered collapsible cookware, and this set is the sharp end of it - a 2.2 litre pot, bowls and cups that all nest and squash into a disc 5 cm thick.
Capacity and what it cooks
A 2.2 L pot is enough to cook for two properly, or one person who is genuinely hungry after a long day. The bowls and cups nest inside it, so the whole kitchen is one item in the pack rather than five.
Materials and heat
EU food-grade silicone sidewalls on a hard-anodised aluminium base. The aluminium base is the important half: it transfers heat rapidly and evenly, so you are not waiting on a cold spot or scorching one patch while the rest sits cool. Silicone above it means the whole thing folds flat when it cools.
Packing and nesting
527 g for the set, collapsing to 19.7 x 19.5 x 5.1 cm. Rotate the handle and it locks the lid down with the tableware nested inside, so nothing rattles loose in your pack.
Handles and safety
The Click-Safe handle locks for secure lifting and pouring, which is the moment that matters - a pot of boiling water at a camp table is not where you want a handle that flexes. Glass-reinforced nylon rims on the bowls and cups make them easy to hold when full and hot.
Cleaning
Silicone and hard-anodised aluminium both wipe clean easily. The curve between the sidewalls and base of the bowls is shaped to match Sea to Summit spoons and sporks, so you actually get the last of your dinner out.
