Description

The Arva First Aid Kit Lite is a filled, compact first aid kit from Arva, the French avalanche-safety brand. This is the Full version: the pouch comes stocked, ready to clip into a day pack for walking, ski touring and mountain days.

What it covers

The Lite is sized for basic wounds and minor injuries on a day out, the knocks and scrapes that happen on a rocky descent or a scramble in the Victorian and NSW high country. It also carries two blister plasters, because blisters are one of the most common things to go wrong on a long walk, and a rescue blanket for the day that goes further wrong.

Everything sits in three see-through compartments, so you can find the plasters at a glance instead of tipping the whole kit out on the track. There are no markings inside, so you can arrange it your own way and add the extra supplies you like to carry.

Weight and packed size

Closed, the pouch measures 10 x 15 x 4 cm. Opened out flat it is 30 x 15 x 1 cm. It folds shut and a wide elastic band holds it closed, stretching to suit however full you pack it, and a strap loop lets you fix it inside your pack or clip it on where you can reach it.

Restocking

Because the compartments are unmarked, restocking is simple: replace what you used, and swap in anything you find yourself reaching for. We stock the Lite because a first aid kit only helps if it comes on every trip, and one this compact never gets left at home.
