Eclipse Cap

Sunday Afternoons Eclipse Cap is a lightweight performance cap built for hot, bright days on your feet. The fabric is rated UPF 50+, vents across the top flip open when you are overheating and close again when you want full sun cover, and the 7.5 cm Clamshell Brim folds in half so the whole cap packs flat into a pocket, a running belt or the lid of a pack. It weighs 62.4 g, comes in Slate or Bluestone, and fits around your ears without pressing on sunglasses arms.

Fit and layering

• Medium: head circumference 56–58 cm
• Large: head circumference 58–60.5 cm
• Adjustable sizing at the back fine-tunes the fit within each size.
• Ear-friendly profile: the sides curve up around your ears and sit clear of sunglasses arms.

To find your size, wrap a piece of string around your head above the eyebrows and ears, then measure the string. If you sit right on 58 cm, the adjuster lets either size work.

Fabric and construction

• UPF 50+ sun rating on the fabric; the mesh under the vents is not rated, so keep the vents closed in the harshest sun.
