Nemo Disco Endless Promise -1°C Down Sleeping Bag (650FP)

The Disco is Nemo's down sleeping bag with a -1 °C limit rating, cut in their Classic Spoon shape. It belongs to the Endless Promise range, built for recycling once its working life is over.

Who it's for

Nemo's chart gives the Regular 155 cm of girth at the knees against 145 cm at the hips.

Understanding the temperature rating

Two numbers matter, and the one to buy on is comfort. Nemo's sewn-in label and spec table put ISO comfort at 4 °C, the temperature you stay warm through the night. Limit at -1 °C is where a warm sleeper is curled up and holding on until morning. Plan your trips around the comfort figure and you will sleep; plan them around the limit and you will spend the night awake doing sums.

The same label gives an extreme figure of -16 °C. That is a survival number, not a sleeping one.

Shape and room

The Spoon shape is the whole point of a Disco. In the Regular it measures 157 cm at the shoulders, 145 cm at the hips and 155 cm at the knees.

Multistage Thermo Gill vents run along the top. Open them when the night turns warmer than you packed for and dump heat without unzipping the bag. A Blanket Fold collar closes over the neck, the hood and footbox are waterproof and breathable, and the footbox is a 3D shape for room at your feet.

Down or synthetic here

Down: 650 fill-power, hydrophobic, PFAS-free and RDS-certified, so it comes from farms certified under the Responsible Down Standard. The baffles run vertically along the torso and horizontally below the waist so the down stays put. Shell and lining are 20D recycled polyester ripstop with a C0 DWR.

Sizing

Regular fits up to 183 cm and Long up to 198 cm, and both come in a Wide. The Long measures 163 cm at the shoulders, 147 cm at the hips and 160 cm at the knees. The Regular Wide (to 183 cm) measures 177, 163 and 173 cm, and the Long Wide (to 198 cm) 183, 168 and 178 cm.

Endless Promise

Endless Promise means Nemo built the Disco to be fully recyclable when it wears out, rather than ending up as landfill. The tag sewn in beside the rating label points you to Nemo's repair, recommerce and recycling options. It comes with a compression sack and a mesh storage cube.
