Nemo Disco Endless Promise -9°C Down Sleeping Bag

The Nemo Disco Endless Promise -9°C Down Sleeping Bag is a men's 650-fill-power down bag rated -3°C comfort and -9°C limit on its sewn-in label. It uses Nemo's Classic Spoon silhouette, and Nemo designs it to be 100% recyclable at the end of its life.

Who it's for

The Disco is Nemo's men's Classic Spoon bag, built around 650 FP down and multistage Thermo Gill vents for nights that turn out warmer than forecast.

Understanding the temperature rating

The label sewn into the Disco gives three numbers: comfort -3°C (27°F), limit -9°C (16°F) and extreme -28°C (-18°F). Nemo's own spec table lists the first two as ISO comfort and ISO limit. Comfort is the temperature a cold sleeper should stay comfortable at; the limit is where a warm sleeper still sleeps, curled up; the extreme figure is a survival threshold, not a camping temperature. Buy on the comfort figure, not the limit, and remember that the pad under you, the layers you sleep in and a decent dinner all shift where you land.

Shape and room

• Classic Spoon silhouette - Nemo's Classic Spoon cut, with a 155 cm knee girth in the Regular and 160 cm in the Long.
• Thermo Gill vents - multistage zippered vents on the chest, so you can dump heat on a mild night without unzipping the main zip.
• Blanket Fold draft collar - an oversized draft collar.
• 3D footbox - shaped for tailored comfort and warmth at the feet.
• Waterproof, breathable hood and footbox - the parts most likely to brush a damp tent wall.
• Zips to a second Disco - two Discos with opposite zip sides join into a double. Ours zip on the left.
• Baffle layout - vertical baffles along the torso, horizontal below the waist to stop the down migrating.

Down: 650 FP hydrophobic down, PFAS-free and RDS-certified. Nemo pairs it with a waterproof, breathable hood and footbox, and a shell and lining of 20D recycled polyester ripstop with a C0 DWR.

Sizing

Nemo's men's sizing chart puts the Regular at up to 183 cm tall, with 157 cm at the shoulder, 145 cm at the hip and 155 cm at the knee, and the Long at up to 198 cm, with 163 cm, 147 cm and 160 cm. The Regular Wide fits up to 183 cm (177 / 163 / 173 cm) and the Long Wide up to 198 cm (183 / 168 / 178 cm). We sell all four sizes in Ombre Blue, and the Regular and Long in Chai.
