Digital Pressure Drive

The Lezyne Digital Pressure Drive is a slim CNC-machined aluminium mini pump with a digital gauge set into the barrel, so you can pump a roadside flat back to an exact number rather than a squeeze-and-guess. It weighs 128 g, measures 195 x 26.5 x 32.5 mm, and rides on the frame in the Composite Matrix mount that comes with it.

Who it's for

Road and gravel riders who run their tyres at a pressure they care about, and want that number back after a flat on the side of the road. Picture a pinch flat on the climb out of Currumbin Valley: tube in, pump up, check the screen, roll on at the same pressure you left home with.

Pressure and volume

The Digital Pressure Drive is a high-pressure pump rated to 120 psi (8.3 bar), built to get to mid and high road pressures quickly. That puts it at home on road tyres and on gravel tyres run firm, and the digital gauge means you stop at the number you want rather than guessing by thumb.

Valve compatibility

The ABS Flex Hose stores inside the pump handle and threads onto the pump at one end and the valve at the other. One end suits Presta and the other Schrader, so you swap ends to match your tube. Press the ABS button before you unthread and the hose releases the pressure in the line, so it comes off the valve easily. The hose also carries a valve core tool, handy for tubeless setups.

Gauge and hose

Hold the button for two seconds to wake the gauge, and press it to switch between PSI and bar. It reads PSI to the nearest whole number and bar to the nearest tenth, starts registering at 5 PSI, and holds the reading on screen for five seconds once you pass 10 PSI so you can read it after the last stroke. It runs on a CR1220 coin cell.

Looking after it

Keep the hose stored in the handle so the threads stay clean, wipe off road grit after a wet ride, and swap the CR1220 cell when the battery indicator drops. If the gauge ever misbehaves, hold the power button for ten seconds with it switched on to reset it.
