Description
Description
The Lezyne Digital Check Drive is a stand-alone digital tyre pressure gauge, slim enough to ride in a saddle bag or jersey pocket. The body is Composite Matrix wrapped around Lezyne's low-profile Digital Strip Gauge, the head is machined aluminium, and the whole thing weighs 60.9 g. It reads to 350 psi (24.1 bar), accurate to within 1.5%.
What it is
A pocket gauge for checking and setting tyre pressure anywhere, with no pump attached.
Who it's for
Riders who care about the number: tubeless mountain bikers chasing the pressure that grips on loose Gold Coast hinterland trails, gravel riders adjusting between bitumen and dirt, and road riders who want the same pressure every Saturday. It pairs well with a mini pump that has no gauge, so you can pump at the trailhead and check exactly where you landed. If you only ever top up on a floor pump with a good gauge at home, you already have what you need.
Key details
- Range and accuracy: reads up to 350 psi (24.1 bar), accurate to +/- 1.5%. It shows 0 until the tyre passes 5 psi, and shows 'Err' above the maximum.
- PSI or BAR: a press of the button switches units; hold for 2 seconds to turn it on or off.
- Hold function: above 10 psi the measurement holds on screen for 5 seconds.
- Valves: the machined aluminium flip chuck turns to suit Presta or Schrader.
- Power: a CR1220 coin battery behind a screw cap, with a battery indicator on the display.
- Size: 150 x 49 x 22.8 mm, 60.9 g.
Looking after it
Keep the chuck clean so it seals on the valve, and swap the CR1220 when the battery indicator drops. If the display ever misbehaves, switch the gauge on, then hold the button for 10 seconds until it restarts to reset it.
